Am Wochenende starteten die Mountainbiker des Teams WILIER/TU-Sports an verschiedenen Rennen in Bayern und Italien.

Markus Lang (München) nahm diesen Samstag an der Ritchey-Challenge in München bei nassen Bedingungen teil. Nach einem Defekt am Sattel in der 4. Runde, der jedoch schnell behoben werden konnte, reichte es am Ende noch für Platz 13 in der Gesamtwertung.

Podestplatz für Mahli beim „Traditionsrennen“ in Painten!

In Painten fuhr Daniel Mahli (Merkendorf), der mit starkem Wind und Schneefällen zu kämpfen hatte, mit dem dritten Platz aufs Podium. Die geförderten Fahrer Lukas Lauer (Hilpoltstein) und Christina Liedl (Feucht) sicherten sich jeweils den 4. Platz in der U19 und der Damenklasse.

Matthias Seitz (Hilpoltstein) und Dominik Eichl (Allersberg) fuhren am Samstag ein Trainigsrennen. Seitz konnte sich schnell absetzen und entschied das Rennen für sich. Eichl beendete das Rennen auf dem 3. Platz.

Norman Baum (Oberasbach) hatte bei dem Extrem-Rennrad-Marathon „Race Across Italy“ 808km und über 10.000 Höhenmeter bei widrigsten Bedingungen zu absolvieren. Nach 46 Stunden und 26 Minuten erreichte er das Ziel auf Platz 11 in seiner Altersklasse.

In der Vorwoche starteten Tobias Ullmann und Daniel Mahli zum Formaufbau am Garda Bike Marathon bei starker Konkurrenz. Mahli konnte sich im vorderen Drittel behaupten, während Ullmann nach einer Stunde aussteigen musste.

 Am kommenden Wochenende steht die Hilpoltsteiner Equipe beim Juracup in Abensberg am Start.

The mountainbiker oft the team WILIER/TU-Sports took part in different races in Bavaria and Italy this weekend.

Markus Lang attended the Ritchey XCO race in Munich on a wet track. After a small defect in the 4th lap he finished 13th.

In Painten, Bavaria, Daniel Mahli and supported athletes Lukas Lauer and Christina Liedl had to deal with strong wind and snow. Mahli finished 13th overall, Lauer 4th in his class of age, U19, and Liedl also 4th in the women’s class.

Matthias Seitz and Dominik Eichl started the season with a training race. They had to do 6 laps on a track with a very high amount of singletrails. Seitz was able to pull away in the first minutes and won the race. Eichl finished 3rd.

Norman Baum hat to absolve 808km and more than 10.000 metres of elevation in unfavorable weather conditions. After 46 hours and 26 minutes he finished the race 11th in his class of age.

The week before Tobias Ullmann and Daniel Mahli started at the Garda Bike Marathon to build up their form. While Mahli assert himself in the front third. Ullmann had to end the race after an hour.
